Gooey Looey Sticky Buns

Or we like to call this Sticky Monkey Brains! What can I say? I have 3 boys!!

If you are looking for something yummy and super easy to make... look no further! {notice I never say healthy}

Here is what you need:

I throw this together so ... here it is...

1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
Lots of Cinnamon {use your own judgement :)}
Small box of Cook and Serve Butterscotch pudding
1 loaf {1 lb} frozen white bread dough, thawed out

Grease the bunt pan well. Next cut the dough in half. Then cut those in half, you will have 4 pieces. Keep doing this till you have 16 pieces. Then roll them into balls and drop them in the pan. {I know it doesn't look like much, but remember it will rise!} Next melt the butter and add the brown sugar, mix it up and set aside. Take the pudding mix and sprinkle over the dough in pan, after that add the cinnamon. Finally add the butter and sugar mixture over top. Let rise for 4-6 hours or overnight.

Place in a 350 degree preheated oven. Cook for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve it warm!!

And ENJOY!!!!!

Red and Yellow Color Palette {livingroom}

I got to thinking.... yellow and red handprints... how fun! Right?

I wanted to show you part of the puzzle they are working in.... so here is my biggest inspiration piece!

Soooo this pillow will sit on a red couch in a room that is painted.... dum dum dum... I am not sure... I am stuck. I'm not sure how I feel about a YELLOW room... and also not so sure about a blue or green room. I am so up in the air. But I am giving myself till Monday to figure it out! :)

Again... thanks for stopping by!

Handprint Wall Art for Mom

Here it is my first official post on the Just Two Sister Blog. While I had such huge plans for my first post... life happened... and some how Mothers Day came faster than I was ready for. Is it me or does it seem to have happened sooner this year? Is it always so close to Easter?

Well I was able to peel the kids away from the last of the Easter candy, I swear they are taunting me with it, to get in a fun craft for Mothers Day.

I go to other peoples homes and see hand print art, but sadly I never had any of my own. We've done baby hand prints in the baby books, and we also did ones for the grandma's when they were all tiny babies... but I never had one for just me. Weird, I know!! Right?

So I picked up a pack of 8x10 canvas' at Michael's. If you watch they go on sale from time to time... and they are GOOD sales! I got a pack of 10 for less than $9. And I also snagged some paint for a steal as well, they were on sale 3 for $7. You can't beat that!

Add clean little hands covered in paint. {no picture of that... hard to keep my eyes on 6 hands, paint and my camera at the same time lol}So you get the clean version today.

And then Ta Da! This is what you get!

Once they dry I may put a ribbon on the back and hang them that way... or maybe not. I have a LARGE empty wall that is waiting for a slather of paint and then wall art. This will be part of our collection. I have a great wall idea planned out. So when it's ready to view you will be the first to see!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will come back to see what else we are doing around here. I have a great dollar store find to share with you in the next few days! Be on the look out. :)
